I began playing the harp whilst at primary school under the guidance of Mrs Delyth Evans, Aberystwyth. Under her skilful tutorship, I gained a Distinction at Grade 8 before receiving lessons with Sali Wyn Islwyn whilst an undergraduate at Swansea University, making the most of the opportunity to further develop my technique and broaden my repertoire.
The harp has played an important role in my life from an early age. I play a 47 string ‘Gwynneth’ harp made by Allan Shiers and a 36 string Eos Celtic harp manufactured by Telynau Teifi. I have had a variety of musical experiences over the years. I gained a place in the Welsh Youth Orchestra in the summer of 1999 and more recently, I embarked on a tour with the ‘Clerorfa’, the Welsh Folk Orchestra, under the mentorship of Stephen Rees and Robin Huw Bowen. This was an invaluable opportunity to learn more about traditional Welsh methods of playing.
The sound of the harp can add a lovely touch to any occasion. I can offer my services in a variety of events, e.g.:

- Birthday or family celebrations.
Over the years, I have worked hard to accommodate a variety of musical styles into my repertoire and I make every effort to play music that suits all tastes and preferences. My repertoire incorporates classical works, musicals, traditional and Celtic melodies and the works of contemporary artists, and I am continuously learning new pieces.
